In October 2003, Kinsale Candles secured distribution in key international markets, for its range of Irish-made scented and gift candles.
In June 2003, Punch Industries won the Outstanding Irish Company Award at the Checkout Gold Awards for 2003. The magazine’s editorial committee based its decision on the heritage and longevity of the company together with its consistent product innovations.
In May 2003, Punch Industries launched ‘Keep it White’, which is specially formulated to fight the greying of whites in the washing machine. It is hoped that ‘Keep it White’ will emulate the success of its sister product ‘Colour Catcher’ on a national and worldwide level.
In April 2003, Punch Industries won the Irish-Italian Business Association’s Company of the Year Award. Presented by the Tánaiste, Ms Mary Harney, the company was selected for its significant contribution to the development and promotion of trade and business between Ireland and Italy with the continuing success of ‘L‘Acchiappacolore/Colour Catcher’.
In October 2002, Punch Industries won ‘Best Export Company’ at the 2002 Export Industry Awards held by the Irish Exporters Association. It was the company’s first time to enter the competition and the adjudication panel commended the company’s strategic approach towards marketing and distributing Colour Catcher in Europe and the USA.
In April 2002, Punch Industries was presented with the inaugural ‘Enterprise Ireland Italian Trade Award 2001’. This was in recognition of the company’s major success in launching ‘L‘Acchiappacolore’, the brand name of Colour Catcher in Italy.
