A taste for tea and a business name
One hundred and fifty three years ago there lived in Cork City in the South of Ireland a pioneering and enterprising young woman by the name of Abigail Punch. She turned her discerning taste for tea into a thriving business, first selling and later expanding into the importation and wholesaling of tea. From these humble origins a business has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading private companies that today still bears her name. |
