The revolutionary sheet which prevents colour runs.
It has happened to us all - opening the washing machine to find our best jersey or top has turned pink or blue! The culprit is often a coloured sock or striped t-shirt which has run in the wash. Now you can wash with confidence, prevent discolouration of your laundry and keep your clothes bright.
How does it work?
Every time you wash bright or dark coloured clothes, traces of dye bleed into your laundry. Even if these dyes do not cause a disastrous colour run they can build up to give your colours a dull, grubby appearance.
Each anti-transfer sheet is treated with special ingredients which act like a magnet, removing and holding onto loose dyes and dirt during the washing process. At the end of the wash you can see the result – the dye is the sheet, not on your washing.
Instructions for use
- Place 1 sheet at the back of the machine drum before loading the clothes & fabrics. Use 2-3 sheets for new, dark or non-colourfast garments.
- Wash as normal with the recommended amount of washing detergent & softener.
- At the end of the wash, take out the sheet(s) and discard.
Information
- Suitable for hand and machine washing.
- Suitable for use at all temperatures and on all fabrics.
- Safe for the dryer.
- The sheet is biodegradable and safe for the environment.
Hints & Tips
- By carefully selecting well washed colours, a mixed load with whites is possible, thus saving time and energy.
- To ensure maximum effectiveness for items with poor colourfastness used 2 or 3 sheets.
- New coloured garments should always be washed separately for at least the first 5 or 6 washes.
- Colour runs occur predominantly from cotton garments and red or dark coloured garments.
